- The Company has adopted environment friendly renewable form of energy for meeting the power requirements of its various Divisions.
- Currently, Naga power is happy to announce that it is generating 11.125 MW of power through the “wind power” and "Solar". Our foods division utilizes 100% captive generation from windmills
- The Company’s objective towards the future is aimed at producing one hundred percent green energy for meeting the entire power consumption requirement of all its Divisions.
- The Company owns TWELVE Wind Mills and ONE Solar plant.
- Seven Wind Mills are supplied by M/s Vestas. Five having a capacity of 750 KW and one having a capacity of 950 KW and One having 1650 KW. Two of the windmills are installed in Pazhuvur (in Nagercoil District) and one windmill installed in Pattakuruchi (in Tenkasi District).One windmill is installed in Idayarpalayam (in Tirupur District).Two windmills are installed in Navaneetha Krishna puram (in Tirunelveli District). One windmill is installed in Govindanagram (in Theni District).
- One Wind Mill supplied by M/s Gamesa having a capacity of 850 KW is installed in a place known as Koduvillarpati (in Theni District).
- Two Wind Mills are supplied by M/s Enercon each having a capacity of 800 KW. Both these windmills are installed in a place known as Dharapuram (in Tirupur District).
- One Wind Mill supplied by M/s NEPC having a capacity of 225 KW is installed in a place known as Panagudi (in Nagercoil District).
